Holiday "Cheers"

  You've seen Jim Connelly and Peter De Sousa Regularly on Debbie Travis's Facelife, Designer Guys, The Mom Show and more - here they show exciting new paint projects with step-by-step instructions!

Jim loves Christmas, and this year he and Peter have created a unique, whimsical table display you and your guests will love. It starts with a giant martini glass and gives holiday decor a fun new twist!
What you’ll need:
  • Giant Martini glass
  • Green foam square frame
  • Christmas garland plastic greenery with red berries
  • Plastic icicles
  • Glass beads
  • Frosted silver sparkle twigs
  • Red cardinals & red breasted robin
  • Spray snow
  • Green moss
  • Pine cones
  • Fake crushed ice
  • Paint Wizard Ivy or Leaf stencil
  • Dynamic gold aerosol paint
  • Silver glaze mixture – Paint Wizard glaze & silver metallic pain
You’ll find these items at most craft stores and Paint Wizard products at a Dynamic Dealer near you.

Step 1
Paint green foam frame with Paint Wizard silver glaze mixture, and let dry.
Step 2
Lay ivy stencil on top of frame and spray on the Dynamic gold aerosol paint. Move stencil around to cover the entire frame. Let dry.
Step 3
Trim one corner off of frame to make a flat base and with a glue gun position and glue frame inside the martini glass on a tilt. Caution: Wear safety glasses!
Step 4
Break apart the moss and glue to the base of the frame, inside the martini glass, and on the outside and inside corners of the frame.
 
Step 5
Break apart your festive garland into small decorative twigs, and glue to the outside and inside corners of the frame.
 
Step 6
Glue your plastic icicles on the top and sides of frames.
 
Step 7
Break apart frosted sparkle twigs and attach at the base inside the martini glass and some as decorative corner twigs. Add a couple of pine cones into moss with glue gun.
 
Step 8
Fill Martini glass with fake crushed ice and glue pieces on top of the frame wherever you think frost and ice would collect naturally.
 
Step 9
Attach birds with glue gun.
Step 10
Spray over lightly with spray snow.
