Fixing Chips in Bathroom Fixtures & Appliances

Problem Solution
I have a very small nick in my new stove and I want to make it look new again - what should I do?

For small scratches and nicks, the best product to use for white and almond appliances is Dynamic Appliance Touch Up.

Simply clean the affected area thoroughly and make sure it is completely dry. Then, take the appropriate colour, shake the bottle and remove the handy cap with the brush.

Be sure to remove excess paint from the brush before applying to the surface. Don’t over apply. Let dry and sand very lightly with a fine emery cloth if necessary.

There is a good size chip out of my porcelain sink. I don't want to buy a new one - is there a way I can fix it myself?

Use Dynamic Porcelain repair.

The first step is to make sure all the dust is removed and that there are no loose pieces of porcelain.

Then, take the appropriate colour of this heavy bodied paint and squeeze into the affected area until the hole is full.

Don't over apply either Porcelain repair or Appliance Touch up with the thought that you can easily sand off the excess. These paints are very tough and durable so sanding is only intended for the fine finish step.

You may need to repeat depending on the depth and size of the repair area.

When applying heavy bodied porcelain repair, be sure to lightly smooth over the repaired area with your damp finger right after application. This will level out the material.

Don’t sand the area smooth after it dries! Sanding is only intended for fine finishing.
